Violet qualified with a BA in International Business. Following this, she worked as an Education Consultant providing study-abroad advice for international students, as well as a PA to senior leaders for multinational corporations in her early career. With her return to the education sector, she has worked for different academic institutes: New College Group, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester, covering marketing and administrative duties.

Violet joined the Nanomedicine Lab in 2016 as PA to Prof Kostarelos. Since 2021 she is the CNTM Project Officer overseeing all administrative processes and responsibilities around the Centre.
